MADE TO SERVE GOD

MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. THE POTTER

THE POTTER

Scripture Reading: Romans 9:16-26
Devotional:- “Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?”  (V. 21) NKJV

You need to always remember that God is your maker. He is the potter. He made each one to fulfill different purposes. You therefore need to search out to know what He made you to be. None of us has the right to complain (1 Corinthians 10:10). We are individually made to fit into different functions but all according to His designs.

The scripture says He made some to be vessel of honour and others to be vessels unto dishonor. If He decides to make you vessel of wrath, what will you do for Him. None of us can fight Him. There is no court or any judge that you can file your case between you and Him.

That is why you and I need to be grateful to Him for making us vessel of His mercy first and then vessel unto honour (Romans 9:23-24). We that have no standing with God have been made to be called His people. It is important that you cherish this. Make yourself available to be used by Him. You have received His mercy through Christ and now you will receive His honour in Jesus’ name. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to play with my honour in you.

“YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST OF HIS CREATURE”
