MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. BE AT PEACE

BE AT PEACE

Scripture Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22
Devotional:- “And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves.” (V. 13) NKJV

As vessels of God, we must learn to be at peace with people around us and the people that we serve together. In relationship, it is normal for us to offend each other. As close as the tongue and the teeth, yet, they fight once a while. It may not be easy for us not to offend each other as we serve together, but Jesus taught us to forgive each other.

To be at peace among ourselves demand that each one must be at peace with God. It demands that each is at peace with self. It is then; we can endure to be at peace with others. Remember, the closer we are, the more we see the fault of each other. If you serve at distance, you may enjoy distance holiness. That is why the Bible teaches us to be at peace with each other. Both with our leaders and with people we work with.

Don’t forget we are different in nature and God made us so.  Don’t expect everyone to be like you or view things like you. Create service principles in your unit and consider everyone. Remember, Jesus is the Lord of us all and He is our rewarder. Let us not over expect from each other. Consider the fact that we are not at the same level of maturity. Relationship demand living with understanding. The God of peace will give us peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to live peaceably with all.

“IT IS PEACE WITHIN THAT MAKES US PEACE WITH OTHERS”
