HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Scripture Reading: Acts 1:1-8
Devotional:- “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (V. 8) NKJV

Anyone who wants to be vessels unto honour is seeking to be used by the Lord. God will have to dwell in you before He starts to use you. God is a Spirit (John 4:24). That is why someone who wants to be a vessel unto honour must be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus told the disciples that they should not venture to do the work of God unless they are filled with the Holy Spirit. The difference became so clear and the effect of their ministry became so powerful after the day of Pentecost. Everyone is controlled by the spirit in them. As a believer, we must therefore ensure that all the members of our household are filled with the Holy Spirit. So that no one around us will be a vessel for the devil.

Friend, don’t let socialism distract you from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of all vessels of honour. Someone like Apostle Peter was a failure in business but the Holy Spirit made the difference in his life (Luke 5:1-11; Act 2:38-41). Most of the disciples were not as educated, but the Spirit makes the difference in their lives (Acts 4:13-14). To be an honorable the Spirit of God must dwell in you. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let your Spirit dwell in me always.
