THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

FAITH

FAITH

Scripture Reading: Galatians 3:10-14
Devotional:- “But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for "the just shall live by faith"” (V. 11) NKJV

We always read from the word of God that the just shall live by faith. It is therefore important that we seek to both understand the purpose of faith to our lives and how to life by faith. When the word of God says that the just shall live by faith, it mean that the just will be dead without faith. This death is disconnection from God. When someone is disconnected from God, the life and the grace of God cannot be connected to him. No one can enjoy much in God without faith.

As we yield ourselves as vessel unto the Lord, we are bound to face multiple challenges. This is because; we are standing in for God. No matter the challenges we are face with, we cannot be defeated because God is with us (Romans 8:31). No matter the challenges, we will always winning (1 John 5:4).

The winning strength in us is our faith. Our faith in the presence of God with us (Joshua 1:5; Matthew 28:20). Our faith in God’s ability to save us (Daniel 3:17). Our faith in the company of the angels of God (Psalm 34:7). Our faith in the power of God that is able to deliver (Daniel 6:22). We develop this faith as we meditate in God’s word. By this, we live and keep our connection with God. What meditation in the word of God helps us achieve is to convince our heart that the word of God is real and visible to us. This happen as we learn to imagine the word of God as real to us. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to stay connected with you by faith.
