FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. POWER OF PROPHECY Ezekiel 37: 1-12  Devotionall:- “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (V. 10) NKJV      There is a strong need for us to recognize the power of the word of God spoken through His servants. If you observe the word of God, you will realise that most of what God is doing is done through His spoken word. When He wanted to create the heaven and the earth, He only began to speak, “Let there be… and there was….” This is to let you know that God’s power lies in the strength of His word (Hebrews 4:12). God’s word is God Himself (John 1:1-5). So God is as powerful as is word.

FULL VIEW Numbers 33:1-10  Devotional:- “They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians” (v. 3) NKJV      When God is ready to set someone free, He will first render His enemy powerless. This is because the enemy never intended for anyone to be free. When the devil captivates a person, he subjects him/her to eternal bondage. He may even have some individuals watching over him to prevent anyone from setting him free. Such was the devil’s plan for the children of Israel in the land of Egypt. However, when it was time for God to liberate them, He first weakened the hand of the Egyptians, enabling Him to set His people free.

No matter how good a car may be, even when it is new, the moment the headlights and other lights are not working, the journey will not be smooth and fast in dark times. So, when it comes to the smooth running of the car at night, the engine is not the most important, but the light. So, it is in our lives.

Some people have applied all kinds of wisdom they know and yet have nothing to show for it. Most of these kinds of problems are mostly blamed on the devil. But the Bible, the book of solutions to all human problems, says people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This does not mean we do not have a PhD.  But it does mean we have not allowed God to teach us the way to prosper (Isaiah 48:17).

Everyone enjoys life when they have a sense of security. Security commands peace and rest. It makes you feel safe. The devil always plans to attack the peace of the people, but the Lord will preserve you for the remaining days of your life. This is the message God asked me to give to you. DEW OF HEAVEN Genesis 27:21-29 Devotional:- “Therefore may God give you Of the dew of heaven, Of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and wine” (v.28) NKJV      We are living in a world where people depend on natural means to make it, yet God has decided to give unto His people in this season a supernatural means to His blessing. This is what I call the dew of heaven. Many people are sowing on the earth and this does not necessarily command much harvest. This is because power for increase is not in the hands of men but in the hands of God (1 Corinthians 3:6).

The truth is that they may not have been that important till we come to know the power of confession. What people pronounce on you goes a long way to affect your life. God’s word says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” (Proverbs 18:21). That is why you must know the meaning of the name you bear.

And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success.
