So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. When you see a converted soul, he is the one who have totally changed, contrary to what he used to do or say. Someone who is ready to ague to death saying A is good and B is bad and now ready to die to say B is good and A is bad, that a genuine conversion.

Mental cleansing is an act of deprogramming and reprogramming. It is an act of complete removal of a siting spirit and establishing a clean spirit (Psalms 50:12). Jesus told the disciples of the cleansing effect of the word of God. He told the disciples that they were already cleansed by the word of God.

Imagination is turning an information to pictures. This is engaging your intellect or your inner eyes to envision the word of God. Though, you are not there but you can figure out what took place by your imagination. I call it turning the scriptures to pictures.

KEEP SPEAKING IT               Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (V. 8) NKJV Oluremi AGBABIAKA · Keep Speaking It      The word only becomes potent as you keep speaking it. This is because the force that carries out the word hears you as though you have decreed. Our words are powerful because they are the expression of our spirit (Matthew 12:34). Until the word is spoken, it remains unfulfilled.

And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
