  LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

SANCTIFICATION

Scripture Reading: Joshua 3:5-17  
Devotional:- “And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." (V. 5) NKJV


    God works miracle all the time, but man is always the hindrance to His moves. If we are going to see the manifestation of the power of and the glory of the Lord in our lives, then, we must sanctify ourselves unto God. To be sanctified is to be totally separated unto the Lord as a vessel to Him alone. This is because; he that is not totally separated unto the Lord can be borrowed vessel by the devil anytime.

God instructed Joshua to prepare the children of Israel to sanctify themselves because God want to pass through their midst to do wonders. God also can borrow anyone anytime. But if you will become a permanent vessel to His glory, you must sanctify yourself unto God.

To sanctify ourselves unto God is to choose to be for the Lord alone. No matter what may happened, I am for Jesus. Just like a woman come to term and marry a man and change her name to the man’s, so also, we must consciously change to be of God. Most people do not do it consciously. So they assume they have done it. Hence, they always stand on the fence. Make Jesus your choice and He will make you His choice. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, sanctify me by your word

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
