ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE Mark 9:14-27 Devotional:- “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (V.23)           We need to come to the awareness of the potency of the God we serve. He can do all things. He created the heavens and the earth. He created the mountains and the sea; He parted the Red Sea; He brought water from the rock and what else can He not do? If you see any great and good thing happening in the life of anyone today, it is through Him and there is nothing He cannot do (Luke 1:37, John 3:27).

ABLE TO TEACH

ABLE TO TEACH

Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy 3:1-7
Devotional:- “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;” (V. 2)

It takes teaching to educate. The challenge in our world today is many people living without impacting others meaningfully. To teach is to affect others. It is to be a good example that others can learn from. It is to impact into others virtues of wisdom for their rising. It is to make others better.

The word of God says; vessels of honour must be able to teach. To be able to teach is to be patience to communicate rightly to people till they are able to learn. In our word today, most people expect others to learn without been taught. This seems to be our definition of maturity. But this has made many to be pretenders. In other word, everyone is pretending to know. That is why, if you employ some people, you will be highly disappointed in the way of their ignorance. To make it worst, some church members have become leaders because of their long time in church, but baby in things of faith.

To be able to teach, you must be a student also. Humble yourself to locate where to learn. It is wrong to assume knowledge. The word of God teaches us to establish the truth. We are to buy wisdom. We need to go to the wisdom market, pick books and attend seminars or a school of learning. That is when you can impact on others what you have learnt. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me a learning spirit.
