PROTECT YOUR HEART

PROTECT YOUR HEART  Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT      Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

FLEE

FLEE

Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy 6:6-16
Devotional:- “But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness” (V. 11) NKJV

For everyone who wants to be a vessel unto honour, the word of God told us what we must flee from. There are a whole lot of differences between walking and fleeing. The word fleeing is synonymous to the word flying. This means, it is far higher than running. It actually interprets disappearing. To disappear is to have nothing to trace you to a place.

The word of God asked us to flee from greed. Remember, it terminates the ministry Gehazi ((Proverbs 1:19).. The Bible also teaches us to flee all youthful lust (2 Timothy 2:22). Youthful lust is the temptation to desiring to have all things when you have not labour for. Most people want to have what they have not labour for. We are asked to flee all act of sin and ungodliness.

Please, understand that the spirit using you determines your actions. If you are truly a vessel of God you should not be found around sinful attitude. There are places you should not be found. There are words that should not proceed from your mouth. There are dresses you should not wear. There are songs you should not sing. The word of God instructed us to flee, in case we mistakenly found ourselves in such a place. Then, we shall be vessels of His honour. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the strength to always flee from sin.

“If you don’t flee, it could catch up with you”
