YOUR MOUTH Luke 21:7-19 Devotional:-“for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist” (V. 15) NKJV      It is important for us to know that the word of God has put us in the office of god over the devil (Exodus 7:1). This is part of the blessing of the Spirit of God dwelling in us. So we exercise the authority of God. Part of this authority is judging the devil and his host. God’s word says every tongue that shall rise against us, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

He only loves to see men believe in His great power to do great things in their lives. But faith can qualify us. That is why Jesus said He has not come for the rich but that the poor may be rich. He has come to remove the barriers in the lives of people and to release them to their destiny.

HEALING OF WATER 2 Kings 2:19-25       Devotional:- “Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, "Thus says the LORD: 'I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness'" (V.21) NKJV      Some people are experiencing a bitter spring of life. Everything is always against them. Nothing seems going the way they expect. Their situation looks odd. God still has the solution to all of this. He can bring a change. All you need is to be ready to take steps by faith according to God’s word.

(V.6) NKJV      Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion as we are (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are but they were only men of faith and God was able to work wonders through them.

FALL OF JERICHO Joshua 6:6-20 Devotional:-“So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city” (V.20) NKJV      Often, the enemy doesn’t want God’s children to approach their blessing. And he will fence it round. Though it is just at their reach the enemy will make it unavailable. So, they keep waiting endlessly. The blessing is there but the fences must collapse to obtain it.

So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. (V. 16) NKJV      Many may not know that God is not going to do great things in their life until when they are ready to cooperate with Him. For His wonders to happen in our life He has a part, and we also have a part. If a man is not ready to play his part God is not also going to play His part. Playing your part is a sign of faith in God's ability. When you do, He will also play His glorious part.

And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel” (V.6) NKJV      Life cannot remain without water. It is often said that water is life. All living things depend on it. Lack of it can terminate life. It is an important commodity of life. That is why God has made it available abundantly on earth. Water constitutes about 70 percent of the entire world. It is larger than all other substances on the earth. Yet you may find it not available in some situations of life.

You must be ready to act by faith. You must believe that He will back up His word. So, by faith obey Him.

ABRAHAM’S DEPARTURE  Genesis 12:1-7 Devotional:- “Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you” (V.1) NKJV      When God wants to do the unusual, He will always give ridiculous instructions. If God has been speaking to you on anything and it looks foolish; please settle down to obey. God suddenly called Abraham and asked him to leave his father’s house to a land He would show him. During this period such movement was not strange to warriors. They just get somewhere and establish a city. But that of Abraham was different. God Himself said I have a place I want to give you just follow. He did not complain or become afraid. He knew God was faithful.

And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
