  GOOD SPOUSE 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 Devotional:- “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband” (v.3) NKJV One of the greatest places where God expects love to be demonstrated is in the family, and most strongly between the husband and wife. It is a pity that this generation does not have many spouses enjoying true love in their relationships. Many have turned the home into a children-producing factory, and there is nothing strong that ties them together. And today, men can no longer understand the purpose of God for instituting marriage. The scripture we read today gives us some great instruction for our distinction in this world of destruction. God’s word says, "Each should render to one another due affection." Affection is love. God expects you to love each other (1 John 4:7). It is as you love each other that the atmosphere is created for God to mend and amend things in the house. Understand that the word 'love'...

SEPARATED UNTO GOD

Scripture Reading: Genesis 12:1-8
Devotional:- “So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran” (V. 4) NKJV


    A vessel unto honour is the one that has allowed the honorable spirit to use them to achieve honorable deeds. If a vessel will be used by a spirit, then that vessel must be separated for its purpose. There are pots for water and there are pots for dye to be used for cloths coloring. The two cannot be used interchangeably. Wisdom demands that we separate different pot for the two.

God wanted to use Abraham to build a nation for Himself; He has to first call Abraham to separate himself from the worldly system unto Him. This is because if Abraham is not separated unto the Lord, he will be corrupted and made ineffective for God. That made Abraham to depart from his town and people to be separated unto the purpose of God.

Friend, you cannot stand on the fence. You cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). If you will be a vessel unto honour, you must be total unto God. You cannot call yourself a Christian and still be following the way of the world. The world system is fashioned to make people vessels of the devil. You cannot be living, thinking, acting the way the world does and be a vessel unto God. Be separated unto God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to separate myself unto you.

”INDECISION WILL MAKE ANYONE TO LOOSE ON BOTH SIDES”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
