THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

PREACH THE GOSPEL

PREACH THE GOSPEL

Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 4:1-8
Devotional:- “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching” (V. 2).

The lives of God’s vessel unto honour must preach the gospel. We must be careful in our generation not to become too self-focus and neglect the preaching of the gospel. Whenever I hear someone preaching I am always thankful to God. This is because, people need to keep hearing the gospel to believe (Romans 10:14).

The word of God says; the preaching of the gospel is the power of God to save people (Romans 1:16). Please remember as children of God that we are not admonished or encouraged but commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). Please, know that preaching the gospel is witnessing for Christ. It is also declaring the word in power for the salvation of souls

Sometime, it is not our message that saves souls, but it is the Holy Spirit that uses it to create a lasting effect to penetrate into the souls of people. It is a privilege to be chosen in the agenda of God to use us for the gospel. That is why, we must not be too concerned about who care to hear or not. God can use our weak voice to win the most stubborn. We must tell the world that Jesus died to pay for their salvation from the destruction of the devil. All that man needs to do is to accept the finished work of the cross and the Holy Spirit will save them. This is our message and this is the gospel. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to step out and preach the gospel

“IF THERE IS NO GOSPEL, THERE WILL BE NO SALVATION”.
