So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As a child of God, you must know that Christ has made provision for your victory. This is done when He overcomes the devil (John 16:33). This was perfected when He disarmed the devil and his host (Colossians 2:15). When Jesus defeated the devil, He handed over the authority of dominion over all things to all who will believe (Luke 10:19).

The challenge is that we meditate over different things. Some people meditate over problems but few meditate over solution. Meditation is like squeezing the Spirit of a matter into your spirit. Any matter you are meditating on will deposit its spirit in you. That way, you will contact the energy of the spirit to act accordingly (Joshua 1:8)

When someone is given an insight, light of understanding will just be dawning on him. He/she will begin to see deeper than he used to see before on a given matter. He/she will begin to see his/her fault and areas of weaknesses. He/she will begin to see the secret to progress and success.

The word of God says, if we can believe, all things are possible. (Mark 9:23). Faith is the strength of the Spirit produced by the word of God. It is the strength of the Spirit that can move you to carry out the plan of God on the earth.

And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
