FLOATING AXE

FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. The Holy Spirit was what they also depended upon, and there was a miracle. Friend, you also have the Holy Spirit. That stick is the word of God. Speak to the sinking situatio...

CHOOSE YOUR MASTER

CHOOSE YOUR MASTER

Scripture Reading: Joshua 24: 13-20
Devotional:- “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (V. 15) NKJV

God made us to serve Him (Isaiah 43:21). Just like God want us to serve Him, the devil also is looking for who he will use (Deuteronomy 28:47-48). That is why each man should make a choice. You need to choose who will be your master. When people don’t make the choice, they stand on the fence. There are many people in the church today who have not determined who will be the master over their soul.

If a man will be a vessel unto honour, he wants to be a vessel of God. Joshua said “as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord” that is a decision (Joshua 24:14-15). Jesus said “no one can serve two masters” (Matthew 6:24). It is the devil that uses people for dishonored purposes.

Friend, make your choice, either to be a vessel of God or of the world. I plead with you to choose to be a vessel unto God (Deuteronomy 30:11-20). Only this will make you enjoy the blessings of the Lord. Christianity is a calling unto the serve of the Lord. That is why He is called the Lord. If Jesus is your master, then, you have to submit to Him and obey Him always (Psalm 6:14-16). The moment you have chosen Jesus, you must ask for His leading in all things (John 5:30). And God will ordain you His vessel of honour. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the strength to follow you

“STAND FOR YOUR CHOICE AND YOUR CHOICE WILL STAND FOR YOU”
