YOUR MOUTH

Image
YOUR MOUTH Luke 21:7-19 Devotional:-“for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist” (V. 15) NKJV      It is important for us to know that the word of God has put us in the office of god over the devil (Exodus 7:1). This is part of the blessing of the Spirit of God dwelling in us. So we exercise the authority of God. Part of this authority is judging the devil and his host. God’s word says every tongue that shall rise against us, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

SPIRITUAL EARS

SPIRITUAL EARS Matthew 13:10-16 Devotional:- “For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.'” (V.15) NKJV      Your Spiritual ears are quite different from your physical ears. If you don’t understand the things of the spirit, it will be difficult to hear God. Please know that spirits don’t have our kind of physical ears. Also, understand that you are a spirit being, though you dwell in the body. Spiritual ears are the ears of your Inner Man or your spirit being.

SPIRITUAL EYES

Image
SPIRITUAL EYES Genesis 13:8-18 Devotional:- “for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever” (V.15) NKJ V      To victoriously enter your heritage in this world, you must grow your spiritual eyes. That is, you must be able to see what is going to happen before it happens. You must not be unaware of the events of life. You must see ahead to be able to take advantage of all situations. That is when you can be victorious.

BELIEVE IN WORKING

Image
BELIEVE IN WORKING Proverbs 28:14-22 Devotional:- “He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, But he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough!poverty” (v.19) NKJV        Many people, especially Christians in this part of the world, have not woken up to the fact that nothing will fall from heaven. Everything a man will ever need is already provided here on Earth. We only need to be willing to work to locate them. From the day you begin to know that the blessing of God is waitıng at your work, your life will begin to change for good.

BE A BLESSING

Image
BE A BLESSING Acts 10:34-43 Devotional:- “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (V.38) NKJV      God has created each one on the earth to be a blessing to nations (Genesis 12:1-3; Jeremiah 1:5). So, He has loaded us with unique abilities to be a blessing to people around us. No matter what you may be going through, one of the ways to sail through is by being a blessing.

START FROM THERE

Image
START FROM THERE 2 Kings 4:1-7 Devotional:- “So Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil"” (V. 2) NKJV      One of the tricks the devil wants to employ on us is to make us think we don’t have what we need to succeed. That is why most people often think that if they have certain things, they would have been able to make it. But if we want to face the reality of life right in our hands and hearts lies what can make us succeed. We indeed need the help and favour of God, but they will only catch up with us when we are using the one we have wisely.

RESIST HIM

Image
RESIST HIM James 4:4-8 Devotional:- “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. (v.7)      Each believer must carry the understanding that they are equipped to win. The word ‘winning’ simply indicates there are battles. God did not promise us a battle-free life but a victorious life (1 John 5:4, John 16:33, Deuteronomy 20:1). So, for believers to face challenges is not a big deal. Since our victory is guaranteed. The end of the battle is determined from the beginning.

IN HIS WILL

Image
IN HIS WILL 2 Corinthians 1:1-15 Devotional:- “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia” (v.1) NKJ V        Sometimes when we are faced with diverse persecutions or trials, we ask if God has called us. Some even condemn themselves and comment that God has left them. At such a time, many Christians just go about as though God is no more for them, and in most cases, the devil wants to take advantage and bring discouragement and frustration. Sometimes when our expectation is not forthcoming as we expect, we are often found in this situation.

BE VIGILANT

Image
BE VIGILANT 1 Peter 5:5-11 Devotional:- “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (v. 8) NKJV      Just as a soldier on the battlefield, so are Christians in this world. From the day you confessed Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you have departed from the camp of the devil to that of Jesus (1 Peter 2:9). And these are the camps that are ever against one another, just like light and darkness cannot coexist.

GIVE NO ROOM

Image
GIVE NO ROOM  Devotional:- Ephesians 4:25-32 “nor give place to the devil” (v.27) NKJV      Every Christian needs to know that it is completely dangerous and delicate to give room to the devil in our lives. By giving room, I mean allowing him to establish himself in our lives. I have seen Christians playing with what they should not play with. Sometimes we are not mindful that if we give the devil one mile in our lives, he will want to go ten.

TAKE IT BY FORCE

Image
TAKE IT BY FORCE Devotional:- Matthew 11:11-19 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (v. 12) NKJV      You, as a believer, must believe in victory and there is no victory without battle. The bible did not hide it from us that we are in battle. So don’t expect things to always be automatic. If not, you will frustrate yourself in great defeat. You must live a battle-ready life.
