  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). Word as Authority

Word As Authority 

Scripture:- Matt 8:5-13
Devotional:- he centurion answered and said, “Lord, i am not worthy that you should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. (NKJV)

    When you take the word of God as authority you are talking faith. The truth is that one of the ways that authority is demonstrated is by the spoken word. When the president of a country speaks his word has to be carried out because it has become an authority (Exxlesi 8:4)

In the scripture we read today, initially a man need the help of Jesus to heal his servant. Jesus promise to come to his house and he felt he is not worthy to receive Jesus in his house. He ask Jesus to just speak a word for the healing of his servant, He knows that the words of Jesus is an authority and power (Heb 4:13) And he got his miracle. 

Friend, the word of God is powerful, it is the authority that control in the realm of the spirit. The word of God is more potent that the name. When the word is spoken it is carried out by the angels of the Lord that are always around you (Psalm 103:20) They enforce the word of God on every situation. Don’t you ever doubt the word anymore. Then you will be set for exploit in God. Peace !

Prayer:- Lord, put your word of authority in my mouth

“The word of God represent Him and His power”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
