  MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. WALKING WITH GOD

Scripture Reading: Genesis 17:1-9
Devotional:- “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,"I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless”” (V. 1) NKJV


    Those who want to become vessel unto honour must be willing to walk with God. To walk with God is to walk in His footsteps. To walk with God is to follow His ways. His ways are different from our ways, just like His thoughts are different from our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-11). Only those who can walk with God can enjoy the honour of God. 

Walking with God, demands that we acknowledge Him as our creator and controller. It demands that we allow Him to direct our steps and lives (John 5:30, Proverbs 3:5-6). To walk with God is to allow Him to carry out His plan and agenda through our lives. This will demand that we don’t live unto ourselves.

He is the God of honour. When we walk with Him, His honour will rub on us. His Spirit leads us to honour. The glory of His presence put on us the perfume of honour. His assignments make us carrier of His honour. His testimonies in our lives bring us to honour. The whole world is honouring Abraham today because he walks with God. To walk with Him is to obey His instructions and carry out His counsel. Willingly keep obeying the Lord and you will be His vessel of honour. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to walk with you in all my ways.

“VESSELS OF HONOUR ARE THOSE WHO WALK WITH THE GOD OF HONOUR”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
