HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

HIS ENERGY

HIS ENERGY

Scripture Reading: 2 Peter 1:16-21
Devotional:-“ for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (V. 21) NKJV

God’s vessel of honour are the people who serve with His energy. To serve with His energy is to run in life with the strength of the Holy Spirit. The energy of God will make someone to serve above his/her ability or capacity. The energy of the Spirit makes God to work through us (Philippians 2:13). When a man is running with the energy of the spirit, he cannot be weary (Isaiah 40:31). When someone is running or serving with the energy of the spirit, all barriers will crumble (Zechariah 6:6-7). He will be strong.

The word of God told us that the scripture was written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2Timothy 3:16). This means, they were written by the energy of God. (Philippians 2:13). Everyone who wants to be a vessel unto honour should be ready to run with the energy of the spirit. This is by allowing the Holy Spirit to insure and instruct us into our actions.

To run by the energy of the spirit is to regularly wait on the Lord for directions (Isaiah 40:31). We receive the energy by regularly meditating upon the word of God (Psalms 1:1-3). We tap into the energy of the spirit when we fellowship with God (Acts 4:13). This we also experience when fellowshipping with children of God (Psalms 84:7). When you are riding on the energy of God, you will keep manifesting His honour. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me the way of your strength
