  ENVY NO ONE Genesis 37:1-11  Devotional:- “And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.” (V.11) NKJV For a man to enjoy God’s love being wonderfully demonstrated to him, he must constitute a habit of not envying anyone. This is the reason why many cannot demonstrate genuine love to others. It is time you begin to understand that your value is not comparable. Envy is an emotional act people put on when they feel someone is better than them. Envy is always the mother of negative jealousy. It breeds bitterness and pushes people to commit all kinds of crimes. Some people’s reason for being armed robbers is that since they could not make it legitimately, they must go and get it by force from the hands of those who have made it. GOD’S PURPOSE

Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 2:1-10
Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV


    God made everyone to fulfill a purpose. It is as we start to fulfill our purpose that we become a vessel unto honour. That is why each one has the responsibility to discover his/her purpose and live in it. No one is ordained for shame, this only happens when people walk away from the plan of God for their lives.

The word of God says “we are a chosen generation, a Royal priesthood, a holy nation. His own special people, that you may proclaim His praises. The last phrase of that scripture defines our purpose. God made you that your life might demonstrate His glory (Isaiah 43:21).

Friend, you are made to bring glory to God as you walk in your purpose. This you can do by always worshipping Him in whatever you are doing, by been a committed member of His family, by growing to be like Him, by been a blessing to others around d you and by winning souls to the kingdom of God. This, you can pursue in every career or business you do. Use it all to fulfill God’s purpose for your life and you will become a great vessel of honour to God and to your world. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me the way of your purpose in all I do.

“UNTIL YOU FIND YOUR PURPOSE, LIFE WILL BE A STRUGGLE”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
