  RIGHTEOUSNESS 2 Corinthians 5:14-21  Devotional:- “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (V. 21) NKJV It is because of the love of God that we are called the people of God today (Romans 9:25). This has created an eternal problem for the devil. In the Old Testament, many people tried to please God, but they were not able, and this brought destruction upon them. The Bible mentioned that Jesus, when He died, went to hell to free the saints (1 Peter 3:19). These are men who had lived all their lives to obey the law, yet were not able to reach the mark of righteousness. Today, the righteousness they were not able to attain, we have effortlessly attained. This is not because we are better than they were, but because we are children born in due season. LIVING SACRIFICE

Scripture Reading: Romans 12:1-5
Devotional:- “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (V. 1) NKJV


    Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God. He laid down His life to redeem us. His blood has become the price of our salvation (Ephesians 1:7). The Bible calls Him the first among the living (Romans 8:29). This means we are to follow His example to please the Lord. That is why the word of God says “we are to be a living sacrifice”.

A living sacrifice is a sacrifice that is still alive. Whatever is sacrificed ought to be killed. A sacrifice is a life released to be used to serve and to worship God. It is to let go a life in honour and worship to God. Being a living sacrifice is to surrender once life to God to be used. That is why the Bible says “this is our reasonable service.

Friend, if you want to be a vessel unto honour, then, you must present your bodies as a living sacrifice to God. Then, the Holy Spirit will sanctify your body and make it holy and acceptable unto the Lord. This will happen when you stop conforming to the way of the world. Then start to take time to study the word of God. Let the Holy Spirit transform you into the will and the way of God. Do this by yielding to His instructions. Then, you will become a living sacrifice and a vessel unto honour. Peace

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
