FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. RIGHT JUDGMENT I Kings 3:16-28 Devotional:- “And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice” (V. 28) NKJV      If a man does not know who he is, he will be molested by every situation and circumstance. The reason why you have faced much frustration in your life is the loss of your identity. You must wake up to know who you are. If the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is inside you, why should circumstances, finances, relationships, or business keep you down? This is against the scripture (Romans 8:11). You need to know who you are.

FEAR OF GOD

FEAR OF GOD Genesis 39:7-16 Devotional:- “There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (v.9) NKJV      Wherever the Holy Spirit is, He has seven major dimensions by which he manifests if He is allowed. One of the dimensions is putting in the believer the Spirit of the fear of God. This is not a fear of God because He is wicked but because we know His greatness, love, and we love Him. Do you know that because a man loves his wife, he will not always like to do what offends her except for correction, which is even to be done in love? So also believers operate in the fear of God because he loves the Lord (John 14:23). If you see a believer rising and falling, it is because the fear of God is not in place. It is because the Spirit of God is not allowed to operate in his/her life.

SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE I Kings 14:1-12 Devotional:- “And so it was, when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps as she came through the door, he said, "Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another person? For I have been sent to you with bad news” (v.6) NKJV      Another great arm of the Holy Spirit is the spirit of knowledge. This is a virtue that furnishes the mind with information ahead of time. So as a spirit-filled believer, you can have a foreknowledge of events. If you observe yourself, this might have been showing in your life bit by bit. This information aims to bring you full awareness of this operation for your maximum exploit.

SPIRIT OF MIGHT Mark 9:20-27 Devotional:- “Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead"” (v26) NKJV      In this end time, God is beginning to do much more than human comprehension through the Spirit of might. One of the great differences between man and God is the possession of the Spirit of might. This is beyond what the devil and hell can handle. SPIRIT OF COUNSEL Genesis 41:29-41 Devotional:- “So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants” (v.37) NKJV      Even though you are just an entity, because you are a carrier of the Holy Spirit, what is inside you is so big and unlimited. In other words, you are more than one. Your inner man is innumerable. What is in you is far richer than you can imagine. One of the great arms of the Spirit in you is the Spirit of counsel (Isaiah 11:2). You need to know that you are not an ordinary being. You belong to the order of God. So you carry all that is of God.

SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING  Daniel 5:1-11 Devotional:- “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father-your father the king-made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers” (V. 11) NKJV      The human level of exploits in life depends largely on their level of understanding. The depth of your understanding determines the size of your light in life. Understanding is what makes people outstanding. If you can't dig deep, you can’t grow tall. It is as you can take root downward, that you can bear fruits upward. Failure is mostly a result of a lack of understanding (Hosea 4:6). People of understanding are of peaceful progress. Since they can dig deep to know the right thing in life they can keep flying.

SPIRIT OF WISDOM I Corinthians 2:6-10 Devotional:- “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory” (V.7) NKJV      The mind of every man is created to operate wisdom even at the level of common sense. This is one of the reasons why many are poor. The reason why this is so is that most human beings do not know how to empower their mind for wisdom with the right and quality information. They rather believe that life is all about making do with everything that comes their way. Wrong information and association have made many minds dull (Proverbs 13:20).

HELPER John 14:23-26 Devotional:-v“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (v.26) NKJV      Human beings by nature and creation are so limited. When you call someone a professor, he/she cannot know everything, even in the field of specialization. How much more in the other spheres of life? Our limitation is that we live in a body though we are a spirit being. A spirit is not as that limited. Even though it can’t be in different places at the same time it can be invisible. It can read far beyond the physical to the intent of mind and matters.

A SYMPATHIZER Hebrews 4:14-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (V. 15) NKJV      Sometimes, we feel Intimidated by our weaknesses, which often leads to inactivity. Weaknesses in people's life are a result of their limitations. That is why no one is perfect. Sometimes, when we try to explain our Situation to others, they cannot understand. They even look at us as lazy and non-willing people. Even in our time of challenges, the best people can offer you is further frustration.

THE NAME Philippians 2:5-11 Devotional:- “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name” ( V. 9) NKJV      One of the things you have in God as a person in Christ is the name of Jesus. Name is a symbol of power and greatness. Don’t assume that name is only for attention or identity. The names of people sometimes interpret the events that surround there lives. Names sometimes declare people's destinations in life. And the name could also be an identity of greatness. There are great names and there are mere names. There are names you will mention, and people will look at you twice. Imagine you entering anywhere and you introduce yourself as “Mr. God.”

GREAT FUTURE Romans 8:18-25 Devotional:- “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (V. 18) NKJV      The greatest aspect of your redemption is the work of your salvation. This saves you from doom and delivers to you a great destiny. God is a great God, and He cannot create failure. It has been a painful thing to Him to see the greater percentage of the people He has created in failure. This is one of the reasons for our new birth. And as a new creature, you are redeemed from defeat to victory (John 5:41), from lack to abundance (John 10:10), from sickness to health (Matthew 8:17), and from destruction to great destiny in God.

AUTHORITY Luke 10:18-24 Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (V. 19) NKJV      Since you are a new creature in Christ, you have a new authority in God. No one can command respect and results without authority. Many people sometimes mistake boldface and noise for authority, but you need to see a person of authority. They don’t even carry the look. This is because it is not about the look or size; it is in the awareness and consciousness of who you are. People of authority have great faith.

COURAGE  Acts 2:4-15 Devotional:- “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words” (v.14) NKJV .      No man can face a big challenge except with the spirit of courage, which is referred to as the conqueror's backbone. You, as a believer, must know that the Spirit in you is the Spirit of courage. There is no mountain a courageous man cannot climb, no hurdle he cannot jump. And so taking risks is a normal thing in life for him.

PEACE John 14:27-30 Devotional:- “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (V. 27) NKJV      In the school of faith, the level of your peace determines the strength of your faith. That is why the Bible says that quietness and confidence shall be your strength (Isaiah 30:15). Part of our heritage in Christ is peace. This peace is given to us by the Spirit of the prince of peace in us. The prince of peace is Jesus Christ (Isaiah 9:6). When there is peace within you, there will be peace around you. The peace within commands the peace without.

BEING FORGIVEN 1 John 1:5-10 Devotional:- “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (v. 9) NKJV .      One of the strongest weapons of the enemy against human confidence is condemnation and fear. And these are products of the feelings of not being forgiven. Nothing weakens the human conscience like guilt (Proverbs 28:1). No matter how strong a man is, a guilty conscience will make him a vegetable in the face of his enemies. He will always submit to the enemy. He/she will always look down on himself/herself.

HOLY SPIRIT Ezekiel 37:1-14 Devotional:- “I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it," says the LORD" (V. 19) NKJV      One major area where the believers are defeated is in the area of self-identification. See, ignorance of your identity makes you a defeated man before the battle. If you have not been looking at the mirror, do you know that you may carry a wrong impression of yourself? But when you look at yourself in the mirror, you will be aware of your size and shape. What you are simply doing now is looking at yourself in the mirror of the word of God (2 Corinthians 3:18).

TEMPLE 1 Corinthians 3:16-21 Devotional:- “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (V. 16) NKJV      In biblical terms, a temple is known as a place of worship of God. It is a place for the presence of God. A sacred place separated and consecrated for spiritual worship and where God dwells. So, it is often referred to as the house of God. This is the most precious place for both man and God. No one plays or toils around this temple. The angels of God always surround His temple. The armies of heaven are always on guard. The glory of God will always cover His temple. There, people find healing, recovery and joy. This is the nature of the temple of God.

And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
