Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him. 

Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptation” (Luke 22:40). 

If we are to dominate the forces of this world, then we must spend time with God. In the night, we decree the word of God against the forces of the enemy. We must stop the habit of sleeping away our days, especially the midnight hours. Effective and quality time of prayer should be launched to intercede for both the kingdom of God and all others, as the Lord will lay on our hearts in your area of needs. When you get involved in intercession, you will be surprised that the Holy Spirit will start to reveal you what to ask about your challenges. And you will see your enemies defeated (Romans 8:26-27). 

Friend, you will be helping yourself by creating a good time to pray daily. Let your family have a time of prayer. You will trash many plans and programs of the enemy. And you will keep winning. 

Prayer: Lord, grant me and my family a heart for prayer.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
