Many of us do not know that we are what we believe. Both the spirit of God and of the devil act on what you believe. Your new life in Christ cannot work with doubt and fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Life cannot deliver to you more than you believe. If your belief system is fear, death and defeat, that is what will keep happening around you. Even your strength responds to your belief (Joshua 14:10-11, Psalms 27:13).   You ne...

CHANGING YOUR AUTOPILOT

CHANGING YOUR AUTOPILOT

Romans 12: 1-5
Devotional:-“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (v.2) NKJV

Growth occurs when we change. And if we don’t change, we are not growing. There is no one who don’t want to change but we don’t like to change. If people are motivating us to change, we often don’t like to stay around them. But without change we cannot grow.

The truth is that, change is painful psychologically, but if we must grow, we must change. The pain of change is that, what we have laboured to build, we now have to break. It is declining on what we have inclined. To make it easy for us to change, there are some fundamental things that must change, the first, is the way we think. Please understand that the way we think is influenced by the association we keep. So, to change, you must change your association.

We must choose to start to think in the way of God. (Isaiah 55: 8) This is by thinking the way of the word of God. We also need to locate the new association that encourages us to think the new and godly way (1 Corinthians 15:33, Proverbs 13:20). Don’t’ forget that it took us a long time to learn the wrong, so we must not be in a haste to unlearn the wrong and learn the right one. But the strength of new change is persistence in the right way. Receive the grace of God. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, I need your grace for my change.
