  THE MOST IMPORTANT THING 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love”. (V. 13) In belonging to God and his family the most important thing is love. Because God is love and the most important lesson He wants us to learn is how to love. It is in loving that we look like Him. Loving makes you obey all the laws of God (Gal. 5:14). God wants us to love everyone but particularly members of His family (1 Pet 2:17). A major reason God wants us to specially love members of His family is because He wants His family to be known for love more than any other thing (John 13:35). God want us to be in regular close fellowship with other believers because you cannot develop the skill of love in isolation. To learn to love you must be around imperfect, frustrating and people of different characters.  Love should be your richest priority in life. HOLY SPIRIT    

Philippians 2:12-17
Devotional:-“for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (v.13) NKJV


    People become discouraged sometimes when they make effort to develop strength in a particular area and they are not making headway. It is often so because we feel we want to achieve growth by our effort. The Bible says, Paul can plant and Apollos watered but it is God that brings increase.

The word of God says, it is God who work in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. This means, even our desire and growth are both the work of God. And we know He does this by His spirit in us (Zachariah 4: 6). That is why, as we thirst and desire to grow in the Lord, we must trust in the help of the Holy spirit (1 Cor 3:4-6).

When we trust the Holy spirit for our growth, He will give us the enablement to seek the Lord, He will strengthen us and make us enjoy our time with God. He will show us the truth as we meditate in the word of God (2 Cor 3:16-18) He will enable us to do the will of the father. It is therefore important that we trust the Holy spirit to help us. We do this by asking for His help in our pursuit of growth and He will help us. Peace. 

Prayer: Holy spirit, strengthens me to grow in the Lord.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
