PRESENCE OF GOD  Psalm 16:5-11 Devotional:- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (v.11) NKJV As good as joy is, one of the greatest tasks of joy is sustaining it. So the world always finds it difficult to sustain. Many cannot even experience it for more than two hours per week. This is because they have not located the source of joy. As a believer, you need to know that joy is a product of the presence of God. Wherever God’s presence is, our scripture today says joy will fill the place. It means the oxygen and the hydrogen of the atmosphere of God are joy. So you cannot be in His presence and not know joy. No wonder David said he is always glad when it is time to go to the house of the Lord. (Psalm 122:1). To experience the presence of the Lord, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and then His presence will be within you. You also need to believe that He is with you according to His word. HOLY SPIRIT    

Philippians 2:12-17
Devotional:-“for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (v.13) NKJV


    People become discouraged sometimes when they make effort to develop strength in a particular area and they are not making headway. It is often so because we feel we want to achieve growth by our effort. The Bible says, Paul can plant and Apollos watered but it is God that brings increase.

The word of God says, it is God who work in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. This means, even our desire and growth are both the work of God. And we know He does this by His spirit in us (Zachariah 4: 6). That is why, as we thirst and desire to grow in the Lord, we must trust in the help of the Holy spirit (1 Cor 3:4-6).

When we trust the Holy spirit for our growth, He will give us the enablement to seek the Lord, He will strengthen us and make us enjoy our time with God. He will show us the truth as we meditate in the word of God (2 Cor 3:16-18) He will enable us to do the will of the father. It is therefore important that we trust the Holy spirit to help us. We do this by asking for His help in our pursuit of growth and He will help us. Peace. 

Prayer: Holy spirit, strengthens me to grow in the Lord.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
