  PROMOTION Psalm 113:1-8 Devotional:- “He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap” (v.7) NKJV Observe a joyful man, he will keep going up, and this is because joy makes room for the presence of God (Psalm 16:11). When God is available, He makes the joyful to inherit great places of the earth. We must understand the mystery of joy as affecting our level per time on the earth. In our scripture for today, God’s word says when a man is joyful and praiseful, God will set him on high among the princes. This is because a joyful heart accommodates praises, and where God is praised, God encompasses the place with favour (Psalm 22:3). Observe a happy man or woman; everyone wants to favour him/her. So when joy is available, it will move you to praise God, and your promotion is inevitable  The reason for your current level is directly proportional to your level of joy. CHRIST LIKE         

Scripture: Act 11: 19-26 
Devotional:-“And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch” (v.26) NKJV


    A growing kingdom citizen demonstrates it in his character. Our character is what shows that we are truly growing. Our character is the sum total of our belief, habits and attitudes. Our character is what we are known for. The kind of behavior or reactions people known with us. They are the traits of life style deduced by people’s observation of what we do. 
God’s word told us that it was in Antioch that the believers were first called Christians. Those who called them Christians were not necessarily believers. These are people who have seen Jesus and observe His characters. And now they observe this believer behaving like Jesus, so they call them Christians. This means people who are Christ like.
That is not a religious name as it is supposed today, but it is a name of people who are like Christ. That makes it so important that you and I keep growing in the character and the attitude of Jesus. We must make Him our character model. We must observe all He does. We must study His word and pray His life style into our life. We are Christians when our life reflects that of Jesus. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep conforming to your character. 

"ONLY THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST MAKES A CHRISTIAN"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
