  FORGIVING YOURSELF Luke 22:54-62  Devotional:- “So Peter went out and wept bitterly.bitterly.” (V.62) NKJV Before a man can begin to enjoy the expressive love of God in his life, he must learn the act of self-forgiveness. Self-condemnation is always a terrible permission for the devil to take over in the life of a believer. This can make him lose his self-worth in God’s presence. It can make a believer lose his authority in Christ. It can make a believer lose his joy and build an environment of sorrow. And you need to know that the environment of sorrow removes from you the presence of God. He only dwells where there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11). Unforgiveness can make a man build an atmosphere of fear and then permit the presence of demons. This also breeds discouragement and frustration and makes the life of its victim miserable. The wonderful thing in the scripture we read today is that, though Peter denied Christ publicly and committed a grievous sin, he did not let...

FAITH        

Matthew 17: 14-20
Devotional:-“So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” (v.20) NKJV


    Faith is the strength and energy of God to do all things. It is by faith creation came to be (Hebrews 11:3). Where there is faith, there will be achievements. It is by faith that we can experience divine healing (James 5:15). It is by faith we can overcome the devil (1 John 5:4). Faith is the major factor in walking and attaining with God (Hebrews 11:5). If faith is that important, then we must grow in faith. 

We read in the scripture today that the disciples came to Jesus having failed in been able to cast out devil. They ask Jesus the reason for their failure. Jesus replied them that, it’s due to their unbelief which is lack of faith. Please understand that faith is the energy of God released into our spirit-man by God for us to be able to carry out an assignment for His glory. 

Growing faith therefore demands that we wait on the word of God by meditation. It is as we meditate that the Holy Spirit releases the energy of the word of God into our Spirit. By this, we gain confidence and boldness to rise and manifest the grace of God for an achievement. All citizens of the kingdom of God must give themselves to growing in faith to keep their victory and success in place. And we shall keep growing. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, give me grace to keep increasing in faith.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
