He is always making us to think we don’t have what we need to succeed. That is why most people often think if they have so, so and so then they would have been able to make it. But if we want to face the reality of life, right in our hands and heart lies what can make us succeed. It is true that we need the help and favour of God. DECISION MAKING

DECISION MAKING

Genesis 13:1- 15
Devotional:-“Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left" (v.9) NKJV

Our decisions are what cumulates to determine our result. That is why someone said, our decision determines our destination in life. Decision making is what we use and practice almost every time. If indeed it is important, then we must give ourselves to growing in it.

The phrase “decision making” means making decisions. This means we need a process to make decisions and not just jump into conclusion. Abraham should have chosen to discipline the servants of Lot and even his own servants or scold Lot himself as a leader, but insight helped him to know the lasting solution to the trouble and he took a decision. Even God was waiting for his decision before blessing him more (Genesis 13:14-17). So, decision delayed is destiny denial.

To grow in decision demands the following: always consider options, consider the effect of your decision on others either positive or negative, consider the long-term effect of your decision and be sure it does not displease the Lord. Getting use to these processes will give you the skill of making decisions. Each of your decisions will surely prove your level of growth in wisdom. Don't be afraid to make some mistakes. Don’t mind those who laugh at you. Keep learning and growing. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to make good decisions.
