  YOU ARE FROM GOD Colossians 1:9-18 Devotional:- “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (V. 16) One of the greatest troubles of human life is people living out of their purpose. Until you find your purpose and fit into it, life will continue to be a struggle. Locating the meaning of human life is one of the greatest adventures someone can embark on. This is because when the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable. That is why the human life is so abused today.  As God’s kingdom citizens, finding the purpose of life and the meaning of life becomes easier when we source for it from the word of God. UNDERSTANDING        

Matthew 13: 18-23
Devotional:-“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty" (v.23) NKJV


   A child of God is said to be growing when he is developing in understanding. When people don’t work in understanding, they walk in the trap of death (Proverbs 21: 16). Because of lack of understanding, people will lose in the race of life. It is understanding that inform us of good decisions. 

The word of God told us the meaning of the parable of the Sower. This simply centered around people who lack or have understanding. The Sower, sowed the word but for some it did not mix with understanding, so it was unfruitful. But some receive the word with understanding and it produces multiple fruits. Literarily, understanding is the ability to comprehend knowledge or an information. To have a clear view of an information. In a deeper dimension, it is knowing the implication of an effect on an action taken to avoid error or trouble.

As we study the word of God, we should increase in understanding (Luke 2: 17) This is knowing the implication of decision of life from Bible examples and instructions. By understanding, we are able to reduce errors or mistakes, make progress without fear and achieve the plan of God for our lives. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, give me understanding by your spirit.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
