  BORN TO WIN 1 John 5:1-5 Devotional:- “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.” (V. 4) NKJV God is great, mighty and victorious. No one can challenge His power and authority. They’ve not given birth to the devil that can face God. He has on several occasions given the devil a public disgrace (Colossians 3:15). When God created man, He expected him to cheaply overcome the enemy. But the first man fell into the devil’s trick. Because God cannot fail, He did not create a second Adam but gave birth to Him. There is power in this. He discovered that the first Adam did not perfectly resemble Him in strength and power. So He decided to give birth to the second Adam, in the person of Jesus. So He is referred to as the firstborn among the living. God has not born anyone before Him. Whatever you give birth to will carry your strength. UNDERSTANDING        

Matthew 13: 18-23
Devotional:-“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty" (v.23) NKJV


   A child of God is said to be growing when he is developing in understanding. When people don’t work in understanding, they walk in the trap of death (Proverbs 21: 16). Because of lack of understanding, people will lose in the race of life. It is understanding that inform us of good decisions. 

The word of God told us the meaning of the parable of the Sower. This simply centered around people who lack or have understanding. The Sower, sowed the word but for some it did not mix with understanding, so it was unfruitful. But some receive the word with understanding and it produces multiple fruits. Literarily, understanding is the ability to comprehend knowledge or an information. To have a clear view of an information. In a deeper dimension, it is knowing the implication of an effect on an action taken to avoid error or trouble.

As we study the word of God, we should increase in understanding (Luke 2: 17) This is knowing the implication of decision of life from Bible examples and instructions. By understanding, we are able to reduce errors or mistakes, make progress without fear and achieve the plan of God for our lives. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, give me understanding by your spirit.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
