  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). UNDERSTANDING        

Matthew 13: 18-23
Devotional:-“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty" (v.23) NKJV


   A child of God is said to be growing when he is developing in understanding. When people don’t work in understanding, they walk in the trap of death (Proverbs 21: 16). Because of lack of understanding, people will lose in the race of life. It is understanding that inform us of good decisions. 

The word of God told us the meaning of the parable of the Sower. This simply centered around people who lack or have understanding. The Sower, sowed the word but for some it did not mix with understanding, so it was unfruitful. But some receive the word with understanding and it produces multiple fruits. Literarily, understanding is the ability to comprehend knowledge or an information. To have a clear view of an information. In a deeper dimension, it is knowing the implication of an effect on an action taken to avoid error or trouble.

As we study the word of God, we should increase in understanding (Luke 2: 17) This is knowing the implication of decision of life from Bible examples and instructions. By understanding, we are able to reduce errors or mistakes, make progress without fear and achieve the plan of God for our lives. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, give me understanding by your spirit.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
