THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. THIRST

THIRST

Isaiah 55: 1-5
Devotional:-"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price” (v.1) NKJV

It is important that we realize a fundamental truth about growth. This is the fact that if you don't really make up your mind to grow, you cannot grow. You must first realize y
our need for growth. The reason many people are deficient in one area or the other in their life is because they have not seen a need to grow.

The Bible says, God is willing to bless us by His spirit to grow, but we must be ready (John 7:37-38). God will never violate our choice power (Genesis 6:3) Your thirst to grow is a criterial factor for growth. David said, early will I seek you because my soul thirst for you (Psalm 63:1).

So, if you notice any aspect of your life that is weak, there is a need for you to be seriously interested in growth. To be thirsty is to be seriously looking out or desperately longing for something. Don't be a Christian who bothers not about spiritual things. If not, you will be weak spiritually and when you need God, He will not be available for you (Isaiah 29:13). We easily complain about what we lack, but how thirsty are we in getting it is what determines how we get it. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me a thirsty heart for my growth

"YOUR THIRST LEVEL DETERMINES HOW MUCH YOU CAN GET OF GOD"
