TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

GROWING IN FINANCES

GROWING IN FINANCES

1 Thessalonians 4: 9-12
Devotional:-“that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing” (v.12) NKJV

Just like we have to grow in the strength of the Lord, in relationship with God and people, making a good home, in managing our own businesses, growing in faith and in wisdom, so also in handling finances. A major area where the devil punishes many Christians today is in the area of money. It is the reason many are frustrated and are moving from church to church.

To grow in finance does not only mean to have more money alone, but to have the godly understanding towards money. The word of God says, we should not lack. The first Church was not in lack (Act 4: 34). Remember you are a member of the body of Christ. Which means you are connected to Jesus and are now one with Him. Because you are in Him, He will always flow His blessings to you. You will therefore need to grow in handling money matter so that we can be a blessing to God’s kingdom.

There is a need for all of us to trust God to earn from multiple businesses (1 Thessalonian 4:11-12). As we wait on the Lord, He will give us vision for businesses (Isaiah 40:31). We must grow in discipline to save a determined percentage of all our earnings. We must save ahead for any project we desire to achieve for the glory of God. We must grow the habit of spending what remain only after our savings. We must have the habit of faithfulness to God in paying our tithe, offering and kingdom project. We must make it a habit to regularly bless ministers of God and be diligent in our business. That way, you will not lack and you will keep growing. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, make me a master over money.
