  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. GOOD CHANGE   

Mathew 12: 33-37
Devotional:-"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit” (v.33) NKJV


We are growing when we have positive changes in our lives.  Growth is when we get better in our approach in handling the things of life. If a man use to tell lies and he stop telling lies, it's because he has grown up strong enough to overcome the attitude of lying. The reason many lives are not changing today is because, they are not growing. Change in any area of our life is a function of growth. 

God's word instructs us to be transformed. This means, to change in shape or form. i.e., whatever we are today we should grow and be better. Some things we cannot do before, we can do them now, this is growth. 

Change therefore happens by the changes in our mindset i.e., the way we think. The labour of growth is to change the way we think. This can only happen when we learn to think differently. In other word, we were taught to think the way we think and our life produces result accordingly. (Proverbs 23:7). So, if our result is going to be different, then we must learn the new things in the word of God. When the new things we are learning is reshaping our thinking, this is when we are growing for our change. It is therefore learning through meditation that produces growth (Psalm 1:1-3). Receive grace. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, put my feet on the path of positive change.

"ONLY THE CHANGE THAT COMES THROUGH GROWTH IS STABLE".

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
