  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. GOOD CHANGE

GOOD CHANGE   

Mathew 12: 33-37
Devotional:-"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit” (v.33) NKJV


We are growing when we have positive changes in our lives.  Growth is when we get better in our approach in handling the things of life. If a man use to tell lies and he stop telling lies, it's because he has grown up strong enough to overcome the attitude of lying. The reason many lives are not changing today is because, they are not growing. Change in any area of our life is a function of growth. 

God's word instructs us to be transformed. This means, to change in shape or form. i.e., whatever we are today we should grow and be better. Some things we cannot do before, we can do them now, this is growth. 

Change therefore happens by the changes in our mindset i.e., the way we think. The labour of growth is to change the way we think. This can only happen when we learn to think differently. In other word, we were taught to think the way we think and our life produces result accordingly. (Proverbs 23:7). So, if our result is going to be different, then we must learn the new things in the word of God. When the new things we are learning is reshaping our thinking, this is when we are growing for our change. It is therefore learning through meditation that produces growth (Psalm 1:1-3). Receive grace. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, put my feet on the path of positive change.

"ONLY THE CHANGE THAT COMES THROUGH GROWTH IS STABLE".

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
