  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. GOOD CHANGE   

Mathew 12: 33-37
Devotional:-"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit” (v.33) NKJV


We are growing when we have positive changes in our lives.  Growth is when we get better in our approach in handling the things of life. If a man use to tell lies and he stop telling lies, it's because he has grown up strong enough to overcome the attitude of lying. The reason many lives are not changing today is because, they are not growing. Change in any area of our life is a function of growth. 

God's word instructs us to be transformed. This means, to change in shape or form. i.e., whatever we are today we should grow and be better. Some things we cannot do before, we can do them now, this is growth. 

Change therefore happens by the changes in our mindset i.e., the way we think. The labour of growth is to change the way we think. This can only happen when we learn to think differently. In other word, we were taught to think the way we think and our life produces result accordingly. (Proverbs 23:7). So, if our result is going to be different, then we must learn the new things in the word of God. When the new things we are learning is reshaping our thinking, this is when we are growing for our change. It is therefore learning through meditation that produces growth (Psalm 1:1-3). Receive grace. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, put my feet on the path of positive change.

"ONLY THE CHANGE THAT COMES THROUGH GROWTH IS STABLE".

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
