  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. GOOD CHANGE   

Mathew 12: 33-37
Devotional:-"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit” (v.33) NKJV


We are growing when we have positive changes in our lives.  Growth is when we get better in our approach in handling the things of life. If a man use to tell lies and he stop telling lies, it's because he has grown up strong enough to overcome the attitude of lying. The reason many lives are not changing today is because, they are not growing. Change in any area of our life is a function of growth. 

God's word instructs us to be transformed. This means, to change in shape or form. i.e., whatever we are today we should grow and be better. Some things we cannot do before, we can do them now, this is growth. 

Change therefore happens by the changes in our mindset i.e., the way we think. The labour of growth is to change the way we think. This can only happen when we learn to think differently. In other word, we were taught to think the way we think and our life produces result accordingly. (Proverbs 23:7). So, if our result is going to be different, then we must learn the new things in the word of God. When the new things we are learning is reshaping our thinking, this is when we are growing for our change. It is therefore learning through meditation that produces growth (Psalm 1:1-3). Receive grace. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, put my feet on the path of positive change.

"ONLY THE CHANGE THAT COMES THROUGH GROWTH IS STABLE".

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
