MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. TRUST IN THE LORD

TRUST IN THE LORD

Psalm 56:1-11
Devotional:- “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You” (v.3) NKJV

A strong factor of growing in the Lord is our ability to retain our trust in God in the midst of our challenges. God actually allows us to go through challenges or unpleasant situations to test us and to strengthen us (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). The devil always want to weaken our strength in God in such time of trials.

The psalmist said, I will trust in you whenever I am afraid. The time of fear is a time to shake but he has learnt to put his trust in the Lord in such times. When we trust God in difficult times, He will see us through and this will make us to build our confidence in our God (Psalm 23:4).

Instead of allowing your situation to tear you down, make up your mind to trust in the Lord your God. When it looks as if though you will fail, trust Him. When you are faced with a need, trust Him. When you are faced with danger, trust Him. When it looks as if you are about to be disgraced, trust Him (Psalm 28:7). This will build you stronger and stronger and your victory will be sure. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to always trust in your saving grace.

"YOUR TRUST IN HIM WILL BUILD YOUR FAITH IN VICTORY"
