THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. WHERE AND WHEN

WHERE AND WHEN

Psalm 32:1-7
Devotional:-“For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him” (v.6) NKJV

Growth demand focus. If any part of our life will enjoy improvement, we must be willing to give it all it takes. He that want to grow in the Lord must give quality attention to relate with Him. This demand that we have a place and a time to regularly fellowship with God (Luke 9:23).

The scripture told us there is a time when He may be found. This is when our heart is free of burdens for our needs. This is when we are yet to be loaded with the assignment of the day. I will recommend very early in the morning before we set out. It is often called a quiet time (Isaiah 49:8).

There is also a need to appoint a corner of our room to be separated as a place for our relationship with God. The moment we resume there, everything about us gets connected with God. That is why it is not the best to make your home your classroom or office so that you can have a sense of resumption. This is part of your readiness to grow in the Lord. Determine when and where you will be daily to seek the Lord, then you will start to grow up. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me grace to always keep my appointments with you.
