Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. One of the tricks the devil wants to employ on us is to always make us unnecessary feeling inadequate. He is always making us to think we don’t have what we need to succeed. That is why most people often think if they have so, so and so then they would have been able to make it. But if we want to face the reality of life, right in our hands and heart lies what can make us succeed. It is true that we need the help and favour of God. But they will only catch up with us when we are using the one we have wisely.

The woman we read about also felt she doesn’t have what it takes to make it. So she goes about complaining. When she met the man of God, he let her knew that the little she had was enough for her miracle. When she obeyed the instructions of the man of God in faith, her miracle was delivered. And she became free from debt.

Friend, you already have what can transform your life. It is complaints and ignorance that has hidden them from you. If only you will value that talent, that potential, that thing you know how to do, that opportunity of the people you know, or that little money or materials with you. Be willing to discipline yourself to start labouring with them, thinking and organizing yourself to grow, you will see that God is with you. That little will soon become big (Job 8:7, Zechariah 4:10). Stop looking down on yourself. If you can think enough what you have is enough.

Prayer: Lord, help me to appreciate your grace upon my life.

“UNTIL YOU APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAVE, LIFE MAY NOT APPRICIATE”
