Many times, we allow the devil to play on our intelligence. So he just finds it easy to walk in and out of our lives. But it is high time we start to outwit him in all instances. Many Christians up till now are still ignorant of the devices of the devil. Since we have the Spirit of God, the enemy should not outwit us.
For the devil to outwit a man is for him to outsmart him. How does he do this? He tricks some into little sins and stands to condemn them before God. So you must be wiser and forsake little, little lies, boasting, excessive talk, unforgiveness, bitterness and more. Understand that this has no profit for you (Proverbs 28:1). Sometimes he tricks some people into sorrow and discouragement, all in exchange for what God planned to do for them that time.
Friend, you need to be wiser than the devil from now. He is not out to help you but to trap (John 10:10). If you observe him playing some tricks upon you, please expose him by seeking counsel. Don’t just be there eating flesh and blood with a spiritual husband who comes and threatens your life, and yet you keep quiet. Expose him. Anytime he introduces something wrong to you or through a friend, learn to say no. He wants to steal your peace and progress. Please forgive that friend. Loose people you have bound in your heart, and you too shall be loosed.
Prayer: Lord, make me wiser than my
enemy.
