For anyone to come to the status of dominion, such must be willing to take the instructions of the great God. Instructions are commandments and directions from someone who knows better. And that is why God must be our instructor, though He could use His word and His holy people to speak to us.
We have to come to the awareness that we don’t know all things. What we don’t know could be used by the enemy to delay and destroy (Hosea 4:6). The fact that things are working the way you think they should does not mean you don’t need the instruction of your creator. The level you are now is not the best God has for you. It will then be wisdom to let Him direct you to glory. He is willing to do that (Psalms 32:8).
In the scripture we read today, Peter and his company had been toiling in vain. They had been one of the failures around. They might have thought it was the will of God for them to fail. But they took to the instruction of Jesus, and they were delivered from shame. If only we can turn to God for instructions, we too shall be delivered from shame. And we shall have all good things in abundance. That simple obedience earns them great blessings. I don’t know what God might have been telling you to do, but please take His instructions. Then you will begin to have the best from God (Isaiah 1:19). Your season of waste is over from now; you are making good exploits in all you do in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Lord, release your grace on me for obedience.
