THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. STAND STILL

STAND STILL

Exodus 14:5-16
Devotional:- “And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” (v.13) NKJV

Today very many children of God are so afraid, and they don’t know what to expect next. But you should not be part of them. The Children of Israel were faced with the worst of their challenges. They were face to face with death. The enemy came and push them to a corner, so they were so afraid and began to cry.

They looked at the situation and concluded in their mind that the end had come. When a group of people are pushed to the wall, in most cases, the only thing is to look for whom to blame. So Moses, the man of God, became their blame object.

Friend, this is not the time to start apportioning blame. It is time to stand still. This does not mean to be idle, but a time to wait for God’s instruction. This is the time to move by divine direction.

Whatever is facing you today will soon fade away. But you must know what to do. Take time to listen to God. Let Him tell you what to do for your victory. Separate yourself to be with Him before launching out. Every human device will fail; God’s direction will succeed. As you obey the Lord, the sea will part for you and you will pass over, and the same sea will swallow your Pharaoh. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always wait on your direction.
