  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). If you don’t know that you have any of this gift, it is because you have not care...

OTHER PEOPLE’S CASE                                              Genesis18:16-33  Devotional:- “Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?” (V. 24) NKJV

     Do you know it is of a great advantage when you once in a while leave your own matter and take up other people’s case with God. This is what is called intercession, when you take up the act of interceding you enjoy grace to walk out of your challenges without stress. This is because the act of intersection is a symbol of great and sincere love. When you live with the attitude of love you enjoy God more.

Lot was a relation of Abraham who did not really do well in the course of separating from Abraham yet love will not let Abraham hold him in heart and not forgiven. The place Lot chose to dwell was to be destroyed by God Abraham had to intercede for Lot and saved him. This act of intercession is great before God. He said I look for an intercessor but I could not find one (Ezekiel 22:30)

Friend, sometimes for the sake of love, you need to take up matters of people before the Lord. Feel along in their pain, ask God to answer their prayers. God will then start to give you revelation about the people, so that you can understand their problem for you to pray. In the course of time God will also start to show you your own matter too and your prayers will be answered. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, I ask for grace to be an intercessor

“WHEN YOU TAKE UP OTHERS' MATTERS, GOD WILL TOUCH PEOPLE TO TAKE UP YOUR OWN MATTER.”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
