GIFT AND GRACE

GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). If you don’t know that you have any of this gift, it is because you have not care...

NOAH

NOAH

Genesis 6:5-11
Devotional:- “This is the genealogy of  Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God” (v.9) NKJV

God can only be glorified in the world when His children grow and become stronger to overcome the challenges of the world. God receives no credit for our failures. He receives no glory in the defeat of anyone. It is not to His joy that you are not promoted and increased. It is just important that you and I make it a point of duty to grow stronger than the confronting challenges and overcome them.

One of the strong men in the Word of God is Noah. God’s word says he was found righteous in his generation. This means that he was willing to walk in the will of God for his life. He was willing to obey God always. He was humble enough to acknowledge God in all his ways. Noah lived by faith. He built a boat on dry land just because God instructed him. He did not mind the ridicule of men of his time, and he was able to save his family.

God wants us to learn from the lives of His saints. Always be willıng to please the Lord, not giving in to the mockery of men. Stand strong in the will of the Lord. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to always obey you.

“WHAT YOU ARE STANDING FOR DETERMINES THE QUALITY OF YOUR STRENGTH.”
