THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. THINGS OF THE MIND

THINGS OF THE MIND

Joshua 14:6-15
Devotional:- “As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.” (V. 11) NKJV

Believers need to come to the understanding that strength is a mental issue. No one can be stronger than the strength of their mind. No one can perform better than the state of their mind. The life of everyone will sooner or later turn to the pattern of his thoughts (Proverbs 23:7). If your health shall be restored and retained, your mind must agree and be willing to think as God said it. The right mindset is actually the one that thinks and decides the way God said it.

Caleb was a man of much faith in God. His mind does not ponder on his challenges to make him lose sight of the promises of God. When he was 85 years old, he said; he was as young as when he was 40 years old. This is simply a thing of the mind. 45 years added to 40 is not a joke. Yet, his mind refused to deteriorate, so his strength remained.

Friend, let your mind accept and believe only the word of God. Refuse the thought of sickness and affliction; soon your strength will be restored. Start to see in your mind that you are restored. See that your miracle has come. Soon, you will find yourself in it.

Prayer: Lord, give me a new mind for my new level.

“LIFE IS TO YOU THE WAY YOU THINK.”
