Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. Joshua 3: 7-17

Devotional:- “And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap" (v.13) NKJV

When a man is passing through times of challenges, one of the goals of the enemy is to cripple his ability to launch out for something great. Sometimes the devil ministers to such people to begin to pile up files of defeat, and when it is full, he uses the same to confuse and frustrate them. You need to know that trial times don’t last, and so you must not allow it to cripple your faith.

Joshua and the people of Israel were just at the quarter to their Canaan, just like you. Since they have commenced the journey, they have crossed many waters, rivers and even the sea. But they had this single one to cross over. The enemy has almost successfully crippled their mind from taking steps of faith to cross over in the name of the Lord. But God called Joshua one day and told him, " Tell the priests to carry the ark and move into the water, then they would see His miracle.

Friend, discouragement is a sign of defeat. Rise up and make a move. Don’t forget God has promised to be with you always, and even this time (Isaiah 43:1-7). Go back and claim your right in that office. If you are faced with temporary failure, you need to gather yourself and bounce back. Refuse to be intimidated. As soon as your feet step into that river, God will make a way for you (1 Corinthians 10:13). You will see His mighty work. You are the priest of God (Revelation 5:10). Go with the ark, which is a symbol of the presence and the word of God. Don’t take no for an answer. Don’t stop moving until you see God’s miracle working out for you.

Prayer: Lord, give me confidence of your presence.
