  NOT AN ACCIDENT Isaiah 44:1-5 Devotional:- “Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: 'Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen” (V. 2) In discovering the purpose of your creation, it is important that you know that you did not evolve accidentally. You are a product of the conscious plan of God. The word of God says before we were formed in our mother’s womb, He knew us. This means, before you were in the womb of your parent you were first in the womb of the mind of God (Jeremiah1:5) God prescribe every single detail about your life before you were made. You colour, skin, hair or your race. He determines your skills, your uniqueness or your natural talents (Psalm 139:15). Your parent may not have planned your birth but God did. He chose your mother and your father to form the blood group He wants for you. He makes sure that you are raised in the right community and your background. All these things were determined...

MORE THAN A MAN

Joshua 1:1-8

Devotional:- “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you” (V. 5) NKJV


    The message of this generation is what we call the message of sincerity. No one wants to stand in faith anymore. “Let us not deceive ourselves” is the slogan now. But we must stand for the truth of the word of God. It does not have to look relevant to all men, but it is still the truth. And as we stand for the truth, God will be faithful to perform His word in our lives. 

In our scripture today, God told Joshua that because of His presence with him, no one will be strong enough to stand against him. In this consciousness, Joshua faced battles by faith, and he never lost. This scripture is also for you and me. All we need to do is take it by faith.

In other words, from now on, you are more than a man. So if anyone fight with you, he will regret it. Why? He will be facing you with the strength of a man, but you are more than a man. So, no one shall be able to stand against you anymore. Live in this consciousness. This is a biblical sense, not common sense. Let your heart accept and walk in this reality. No one will be strong enough to face you. The almighty is with you to fight for you. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help my faith to walk in the reality of your word. 

“WHEN YOU ARE COUNTING PEOPLE AND YOU GET TO GOD, HOW MANY WILL YOU COUNT?”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
