Just like a soldier at the battle front, so are Christians in this world. Since the day you confessed Jesus as your Lord and savior you have decamped from the camp of the devil to that of Jesus (1 Peter 2:9). These camps are ever against one another, just like light and darkness cannot co-exist.
So you as a Christian must not relax. You must be vigilant. The word vigilant means your mind must be alert. It means you must be sensitive. It means you must be battle ready. To be sober simply means to humbly accept the responsibility of your challenges. This is because God has not promised us a challenged free life. If darkness is looking for people to destroy, it’s the children of light. So you must be equipped to the teeth.
You must have good understanding of your weapons of war which are the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the mentality of what these weapons are all about. You must also put on the whole armor of God which include the truth, breast plate of righteousness, gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation and sword of the spirit which is the word of God (Epesians 6:13-17). Never you be caught unaware. These weapons will never fail. Don’t watch the devil messing up with your life and family. Without faith none of these weapons can work (1 John 5:4). Set your faith to make them work, and this is by your scriptural search to get deeper understanding of these powers in God. You will see amazing manifestation of God. The enemy shall lose in your life.
Prayer: Lord,
strengthen me to always be at alert.

GREAT RISK TO BE SLEEPING AT THE BATTLE FRONT”
