The decisions of a man will determine what he will eventually become in life. No one decides to fail and then suddenly succeed. People succeed because they choose and decide to succeed. In the scriptures we read today, there was a break in history as generations of people are mentioned. Why this break? This is because a man’s decision changes his status. There was no such pause on many others. But the reason is that someone who saw the terrible situation of his family image decided to make a change. 

A decision made him begin to take some positive steps. He started calling upon the God of Israel, and he was answered. I would like you to notice that the enemy that might have hindered others could not hinder him. This is because his decision was powerful. 

Friend, I need to let you see the power of your decisions. When you take a strong decision, every part of your system rises up in agreement to support you in achieving it. As a child of God, the angels of God are always waiting on your word (Hebrews 1:14). So, they go forth to make room for your success spiritually. You may face challenges, but the great one in you will grant you the upper hand (1 John 4:4). So, make a new decision. Stop looking at your past failure. Stop looking at your challenges, for God is more than them. All you need is to decide and stand by your decisions. Throw away excuses and complaints, and you will go forward. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to rise with a new strength to succeed

“IF ANYONE ELSE CAN MAKE IT, YOU CAN ALSO MAKE IT”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
