UPROOTING
Devotional:- Jeremiah 1:1-12
“See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant”(V. 10) NKJV


    One of the ministries you are into as a child of God is the ministry of planting and uprooting. God, your father, is a planter from the beginning, and you can not be less (Genesis 2:8). You are also called to uproot whatever is not of the will of God.

Jesus said every tree that my father has not planted shall be uprooted (Matthew 15:13). That was a prophecy about you. Because you have a mandate to uproot, it is high time you wake up to this responsibility, taking the weapon of the word of God in your hand.

Whatever you observe around you that you know is not the will of God for your life, it is your responsibility to uproot it. So take the authority of the name of Jesus and start to deal with failure, sicknesses, poverty, stagnancy, confusion and the like. Command them to be uprooted in the name of Jesus. See them uprooted as weeds and throw them to away. Such a problem shall be over in your life forever.

Declaration: All tares of the enemy shall no longer stand in my life.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself.
