When Moses gave the law to the nation of Israel, he told them that if they would keep the laws of the Lord, all other nations would call them a wise nation. But they lack understanding. Today, many people do not know the value of the word of God. So many Christians still look at the Bible as a religious story book. So we only take it to church for religious exercises. But I need to let you know that if your life is going to have value, you must learn to value God’s word and make time to study and meditate on it. There is nothing under heaven that is as valuable as God’s word. If only you would wake up to appreciate it. 

Please understand that the word of God is the source of inspiration that illuminates your spirit with revelation for spiritual strength (2 Timothy 3:16). David as a king, had learned to separate good time to study God’s word. I am not sure you could be as busy as a king of those days. It’s a matter of choice and priority. And because of his encounter with the scriptures, he became wise. He could gain strength from insight, that is, in- depth understanding of his ways. He became the teacher of the elders and his teachers. 

See, the word of God carries divine nature, and when it occupies your mind, it turns you around for supernatural manifestations. Friend, join me in the school of divine excellence as you create in me to study God’s word. Soon, people will ask you about the source of the wisdom you are demonstrating. And you will show them the Lord. Your glory is about to dawn as you embrace the light. 

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for your word

“YOUR CHOSEN WORD DETERMINES YOUR WORTH IN THE WORLD”
