RESURRECTION Mathew 28:1 -7 Devotional:- “And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. (V.2) NKJV      God has created everyone living on earth to see success and victory. But it is a pity that many lives are not fulfilling God's plan. Many people sometimes blame God for their failures. But we need to know that God desires us to succeed very strongly. Our success is His joy (Luke 10:17-21). This is because we are created to stand here for God. So, your failure brings no glory to Him. It is the enemy who often keeps people in the grave. He did the same thing to Jesus, but He resurrected.

BLESSED FIELD Deuteronomy 28:1-4 Devotional:- “Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field” (v.3) AMPC      It is the field that produces all the good foods that man enjoys. It is in the field that germination occurs. It is in the field the harvest is produced for man. It is at the field that marketers wait to take our products. It is in the field we exchanged our goods for money. When a man’s field is not blessed, he will have so much labour loss. When God created Adam, God blessed his field to produce the best of all things.

FAITH Romans 1:15-18 Devotional:- “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."” (V. 17) NKJV      It is of great importance that you come to know that you are a creature of faith. Though the old man in Adam lost his faith to fear we regain it in the second Adam, which is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:45-47). Do you know even a natural human being has faith only at a very small level? It is by faith you sit on the chair or bed you are. It is by faith you drive and apply brake believing it will work. It is by faith you live in the house. You believe that it cannot collapse. It is by faith you use your gas, kerosene and other materials in the house.

EXTENT OF YOUR STRENGTH John 14:8-14 Devotional:- "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (v.12) NKJV      As a New Testament believer, the extent of your strength is unlimited in Christ Jesus. The church of Jesus today, which is the body of Christ, is appointed to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ on the earth. We are to continue from where He stopped. It was true that He did great and mighty works on the earth, but God is not fulfilled until you and I begin to win with the strength of God in us (Luke 10:17-22). We have been given all the authority to overcome and to succeed. You and I are packaged to succeed, and we cannot fail.

AUTHOR AND FINISHER Hebrew 12:1-4 Devotional:- “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (V. 2) NKJV      It is important as a man with a brand-new life to know that your redeemer is the author and the finisher of your faith. In so many situations of life, people could stand with you at the beginning of a thing but may not continue to bother about how you run the race. But the Bible refers to Jesus as the beginning and the end of all things (Revelation 1:8).

AUTHOR OF LIFE Acts 3:11-20 Devotional:- “But you killed the very Source (the Author) of life, Whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses” (V.15) AMPC       It is of importance for a man to locate his author in life. When the originator of a thing is not known, then the longevity cannot be ascertained. It is only the author that can determine the end. This is because He is the one who knows what He has packaged into His product.

YOUR INVESTMENT Galatians 6:2-10 Devotional:Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (V.7) KJV. f      The understanding of the scripture we read today will deliver you from frustration and discouragement forever. Then you will be able to choose whether you want to be poor or rich. Do not be discouraged because of ignorance. That is why in Hosea 4:6, the Bible Today, many Christians are the most did not say sinners are destroyed for lack of knowledge but “my people.”. This is because Christ has saved us from the formal and natural life to a new and supernatural one. But most of us don’t have the light that it takes to have the best of this kingdom. That is why we prefer prayers to obedience to God’s words. But Samuel said, “Obedience is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22). I know that for you to have picked this devotional today, you are about to be blessed.

MIND YOUR WORD James 3:1-12 Devotional:- “Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?” (V. 11) NKJV      All God’s children need to know that the mouth God has given us has a far greater function than just eating and drinking. You need to know that your mouth is an instrument of authority. It determines your lot in life (Proverbs 18:20). It hinders and permits. It is a weapon of war. The truth is that your authority is expressed through your mouth (Proverbs 18:21).

SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP Exodus 23:24-28 Devotional:- "So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (V. 25) NKJV      Many of us do not know that the attitude we turn to God determines the attitude He will turn to us. Especially when God expects us to have grown above something having known the truth and we are not, then He chastises us (Hebrews 12:6). God can never be wicked, but He wants us to grow. So He chastises us with love as a good Father.

YOUR SERVICES Mark 10:41-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (v.43) NKJV      To have the best of the kingdom of God, you must be willing to give faithful service everywhere you may find yourself. The truth is that our service attitude is what proves to God that we are faithful. Each of us must be willing to serve to earn our best from God. A lazy man may not have a portion in this kingdom. Jesus said, “Whosoever wants to be great among you must be your servant “(Mark 10:43).

PHYSICAL LABOUR Proverbs 14:20-27 Devotional:- “In all labour there is profit but idle talk leads only to poverty” (v.23) AMP           As important as the first two types of labour are, much more important is the importance of physical labour. As New Testament believers, we must understand the importance of physical labour. God’s word says, “…this we commanded you that if any would not work, neither should he eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10). The Bible strongly condemns idleness. But far beyond this is the wisdom of getting involved in physical labour

MENTAL LABOUR Proverbs 18:1-4 Devotional:- Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom” (V. 1) KJV       In the life of many children of God today, the old serpent is still ruling. God’s word says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Most people do not know that God has given us a mind to labour with. Many Christians get so much involved in spiritual labour and now neglect that of mental labour. One of the great problem Christianity has today is that of people not getting involved rightly in mental labour. Let us look at it in two dimensions. This could be holding firmly only to your faith in the word of God and making it your mindset. This could also be sitting down to meditate on your business or project progress (Luke 14:28).

SPIRITUAL LABOUR   Devotional:- “Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience” (V. 1) NKJV      Now that we have begun to walk in the newness of life in Christ Jesus, we must ensure our participation in spiritual labour to enjoy the restful favour of God. It is important that we know that all things that exist in the physical have first existed in the spiritual (Hebrew l1:3). All good gifts come from above (James 1:19). God’s word says God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly place (Ephesians 1:3). All these scripture establishes the fact that there are blessings spiritually provided for us. And it will take our spiritual labour to harvest them.

TRUST GOD                           Psalms 125:1-5 Devotional:- “Those who trust in the LORD Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever”       Trusting in the Lord is a great weapon of peace and security for the children of God. Each of us must learn to exercise our trust in Him. There are challenges of every kind in this world, but those who trust in the Lord will be as Mount Zion. No form of challenge will move them. They will overcome every situation.

HEALER Luke 4:16-22 Devotional:- "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed” (V. 18) NKJV.      One of the most pathetic things in life is for man to be living under the torment of sickness. Just because of ignorance, many have become cheap victims of sickness. It is a terrible thing today to get to the hospitals to see a great number of people under the torment of sickness. In the world today, medical organizations and institutions have increased. But as much as the increase in these medical personnel and organizations, the rate of sick people has always been on the increase. You hardly can get to any hospital and find it empty. This is because the world has not discovered the great physician.

NO MORE CURSES Galatians 3:11-14 Devotional:- “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")” (V. 13) NKJV.      The scripture says, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away." (1 Corinthians 5:17). One major thing that is in the life of every man through Adam is the curse. God cursed Adam in the Garden of Eden, and since then the life of man has not been the same again. Apart from the general curses God placed upon humanity as a whole, the devil also took advantage of most families and established some curses in them. You may find some families who don’t ever succeed. Some families are all-around poor. Some are just nobody to be reckoned with. Some don’t have settled home. Some are bound to marry many wives or husbands. Some are hopeless drunkards, some womanizers to the core, and many more.

NO MORE DUST Genesis 3:13-21 Devotional:- In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return” (V. 19) NKJV.      At creation, Adam was created out of the dust of the earth, which is why he could not rise much before he fell. Whatever comes from the ground will always return there. That is why a man has to be born of God. He that is born of God is born of the Spirit (John 3:5-7). He now has eternal life. The life of God is in him.

NO MORE SICKNESS Matthew 8:14-17 Devotional:- that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses" (V.17) NKJV      In the package of our redemption, one of the things contained and paid for is our health. As the redeemed of the Lord, you are not to live your life under the torment of sicknesses any more. The devil is the tormentor, but Christ has come to destroy all his works (1 John 3:8). So, what is called sickness is already terminated out of your life. Any time some people hear about the teaching of divine health, they see it as not realistic. They ask themselves, Why are they still sick if Christ truly has taken away their sicknesses?

NO MORE POVERTY 2 Corinthians 8:8-12 Devotional:- “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich” (V. 9) NKJV      Looking at most people's lives today, poverty is a common sickness. But as for you, do you know that you cannot be poor? If you are today, you are not poor until you ignorantly accept that you are. See, your riches are already paid for. That is what the scriptures say. Those who will not believe are permitted to be poor. But the truth is that prosperity is your heritage. Many have only refused to grow up to claim their portion in Christ Jesus.

NO MORE DEFEAT John 16:25-33 Devotional:- “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (V. 33) NKJV.      When Jesus came to the world physically, the primary purpose was to redeem man from all the destruction of the enemy. One of the things He has dealt with is yet to be defeated. In the scripture we read today, He said He has overcome the world. He said on the cross that the battle was won (John 19:30).

NO MORE SORROW   Isaiah 53:1-4 Devotional:- “Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted” (V. 4) NKJV.      It is high time you wake up to say a final bye-bye to sorrow in your life. Each believer has a heritage of joy in Christ Jesus. In the presence of God, there is joy for us (Psalms 16:11). By the reason of the finished work of our redemption, we are no more to be sorrowful nor ever supposed to have sorrow all the days of our life.

FEAR Romans 8:11-17 Devotional:- “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father" (V.15) NKJV.      Another thing you don’t have again in Christ Jesus is fear, though the devil will always try to push it over to you. The devil knows that the moment you are afraid, you have lost your faith. That is why what you are afraid of will always happen (Job 3:25). Since the enemy knows the terrible effect of this on the life of man, he does everything to keep very many people in fear. But do you know that as a new man in Christ, you have no fear anymore? God’s word says the spirit in you is not the spirit of fear (I Timothy 1:7). God’s word says, “We did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear...” (Romans 8;15). So, it is the spirit of bondage that wants to trick you into bondage that is pushing you to fear.

CONDEMNATION Romans 8:1-10 Devotional:- “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (V. 1) NKJV.      There are things that you and I don’t have again in Christ, but the devil often tries to push them on us. One of such things is condemnation. God’s word told us of the people who face God’s condemnation. These are people who have refused to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour (John 3:17–19). So as a believer, you have nothing called condemnation again. That is the reason you must not live by the dictate of the flesh anymore but of the spirit. Let the Holy Spirit be your guide in all you do (Romans 8:1). Refuse sinful thoughts in your mind whenever they come (Romans 8:5-7).

KINGDOM OF HIS SON Colossians 1:12-18 Devotional:- “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (V. 13) NKJV.        Quite a great number of people who have given their lives to Christ still have the influence of the devil or darkness upon them. This has brought so much confusion to the lives of many people and plunged them back into darkness. Though they gave their lives to Christ, they discover they still dream of the old things. They find out that the old devil still stops them.

ON THE ROCK Psalms 18:1-3 Devotional:- “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” (V. 2) NKJV.      One of the places of natural beauty on the earth is on the rock. When people stand on the rock, the rock itself creates a sense of firm foundation for their standing. Do you know that there are beautiful and cool waters on the rock? You can never compare the breeze on a rock to the one in a valley. When a man stands on the rock, he has a wider scope of life. He sees wider space on the earth at a glance. He stands more highly above many things. This is why the Bible compares the believer’s life to a life on the rock (Matthew 5:14-16).

SITED TOGETHER  Ephesians 2:1-7 Devotional:- “and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (V. 6) NKJV.      Since we no longer belong to the world by our new birth, our supernatural level is placed exactly where Jesus Christ is. He prayed to the Father before He left the earth that we should be permitted to be where He is (John 17:24). And today He is seated at the right hand of the Father, which is the place of the Father’s power and authority.

HIDDEN WITH CHRIST Colossians 3:1-4 Devotional:- “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” (v.3) NKJV      There are too many things the devil is using to cause fear in the lives of people in the world. This happens often through the bad news of evil occurrences and all forms of calamity that befall people all over the world. All of these are strategies of the devil to make people live in fear instead of living by faith.

WHERE I AM John 17:21-25 Devotional:- "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world” (V. 24) NKJV.      There are so many things going on in the world. Terrible events are happening daily. To some people it is news. This is because of where they are located. Those on the event site are having trouble, and those who are not but only hear the news are not totally out of the trouble. They also live daily in fear of their turn of evil.

HEAVENLY PLACES Ephesians 1:16-23 Devotional:- “which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places” (V. 20) NKJV    The Bible says that we are seated in heavenly places, which means we are far above the reach of the forces of the earth. This simply talks about your status in Christ. This emphasizes the gap that exists between you and the forces that rule the earth. We all can understand that heaven is extremely far above the earth, and so is your level to the forces of the earth.

NEW COVENANT Luke 22:15-20 Devotional:- “Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you” (V. 20) NKJV.      Believers in Christ are the people of the new covenant. They enjoy the new order of covenant with God. That is why the Bible has two parts. The Old and the New Testament. The word testament means covenant. Under the old covenant, which is of the law, humanity has been brought under a great yoke. That is why God saw it as faulty, and organized to establish the new (Hebrews 8:8). Under the old covenant, the devil has taken so much advantage of many people. Part of the Old Testament is that any soul that sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). Whoever sins is of the devil (1 John 3:8). Under this, the devil has caged the multitude into covenant bondages, which gave him legal right. So he has deceived so many people into covenant bondage ignorantly when they come to request anything from him.

UNCOMMON AFFLUENCE Isaiah 61:1-11 Devotional:- “But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast” (V.6) NKJV.    God’s agenda for the Last Day saints is to put us in control of great wealth. It is part of the end-time agenda of God. The purpose is to make the church strong financially and to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. God is going to restore great wealth to the saints who are walking with Him in the covenant (Psalms 50:5). This is what God was prophetically declaring in Joel 2:21-26.

SPIRITUAL BLESSING Ephesians 1:2-7 Devotional:- “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (V.3) NKJV      The essence of our redemption is to deliver us from earthly doom and give us heavenly dews and glory. We are redeemed to make the earth like heaven. God has tried in the past to do this by creating places like heaven for his children on earth, the Garden of Eden. The manipulation of the devil has made man so destructive. You need to know that what is in us is heavenly (2 Corinthians 4:7).

RIGHT JUDGMENT I Kings 3:16-28 Devotional:- “And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice” (V. 28) NKJV      If a man does not know who he is, he will be molested by every situation and circumstance. The reason why you have faced much frustration in your life is the loss of your identity. You must wake up to know who you are. If the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is inside you, why should circumstances, finances, relationships, or business keep you down? This is against the scripture (Romans 8:11). You need to know who you are.

FEAR OF GOD Genesis 39:7-16 Devotional:- “There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (v.9) NKJV      Wherever the Holy Spirit is, He has seven major dimensions by which he manifests if He is allowed. One of the dimensions is putting in the believer the Spirit of the fear of God. This is not a fear of God because He is wicked but because we know His greatness, love, and we love Him. Do you know that because a man loves his wife, he will not always like to do what offends her except for correction, which is even to be done in love? So also believers operate in the fear of God because he loves the Lord (John 14:23). If you see a believer rising and falling, it is because the fear of God is not in place. It is because the Spirit of God is not allowed to operate in his/her life.

SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE I Kings 14:1-12 Devotional:- “And so it was, when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps as she came through the door, he said, "Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another person? For I have been sent to you with bad news” (v.6) NKJV      Another great arm of the Holy Spirit is the spirit of knowledge. This is a virtue that furnishes the mind with information ahead of time. So as a spirit-filled believer, you can have a foreknowledge of events. If you observe yourself, this might have been showing in your life bit by bit. This information aims to bring you full awareness of this operation for your maximum exploit.

SPIRIT OF MIGHT Mark 9:20-27 Devotional:- “Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead"” (v26) NKJV      In this end time, God is beginning to do much more than human comprehension through the Spirit of might. One of the great differences between man and God is the possession of the Spirit of might. This is beyond what the devil and hell can handle. Until the church fully understands and starts to operate in the Spirit of Might, she may not be able to fulfill her calling.

SPIRIT OF COUNSEL Genesis 41:29-41 Devotional:- “So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants” (v.37) NKJV      Even though you are just an entity, because you are a carrier of the Holy Spirit, what is inside you is so big and unlimited. In other words, you are more than one. Your inner man is innumerable. What is in you is far richer than you can imagine. One of the great arms of the Spirit in you is the Spirit of counsel (Isaiah 11:2). You need to know that you are not an ordinary being. You belong to the order of God. So you carry all that is of God.

SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING  Daniel 5:1-11 Devotional:- “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father-your father the king-made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers” (V. 11) NKJV      The human level of exploits in life depends largely on their level of understanding. The depth of your understanding determines the size of your light in life. Understanding is what makes people outstanding. If you can't dig deep, you can’t grow tall. It is as you can take root downward, that you can bear fruits upward. Failure is mostly a result of a lack of understanding (Hosea 4:6). People of understanding are of peaceful progress. Since they can dig deep to know the right thing in life they can keep flying.

SPIRIT OF WISDOM I Corinthians 2:6-10 Devotional:- “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory” (V.7) NKJV      The mind of every man is created to operate wisdom even at the level of common sense. This is one of the reasons why many are poor. The reason why this is so is that most human beings do not know how to empower their mind for wisdom with the right and quality information. They rather believe that life is all about making do with everything that comes their way. Wrong information and association have made many minds dull (Proverbs 13:20).

HELPER John 14:23-26 Devotional:-v“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (v.26) NKJV      Human beings by nature and creation are so limited. When you call someone a professor, he/she cannot know everything, even in the field of specialization. How much more in the other spheres of life? Our limitation is that we live in a body though we are a spirit being. A spirit is not as that limited. Even though it can’t be in different places at the same time it can be invisible. It can read far beyond the physical to the intent of mind and matters. 

A SYMPATHIZER Hebrews 4:14-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (V. 15) NKJV      Sometimes, we feel Intimidated by our weaknesses, which often leads to inactivity. Weaknesses in people's life are a result of their limitations. That is why no one is perfect. Sometimes, when we try to explain our Situation to others, they cannot understand. They even look at us as lazy and non-willing people. Even in our time of challenges, the best people can offer you is further frustration.

LIVING WATER John 7:37-43 Devotional:- “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water” (V. 38) NKJV      As a member of the body of Christ, you are a debtor to fulfil a prophecy to this world. That is why the world is waiting for your manifestation (Romans 8:19). Inside you are what the world has been waiting for. It has become impossible for you to live in this world without manifesting the great glory in you.

THE NAME Philippians 2:5-11 Devotional:- “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name” ( V. 9) NKJV      One of the things you have in God as a person in Christ is the name of Jesus. Name is a symbol of power and greatness. Don’t assume that name is only for attention or identity. The names of people sometimes interpret the events that surround there lives. Names sometimes declare people's destinations in life. And the name could also be an identity of greatness. There are great names and there are mere names. There are names you will mention, and people will look at you twice. Imagine you entering anywhere and you introduce yourself as “Mr. God.”
