STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

WHAT IS STRENGTH? I Corinthians 2:1-6 Devotional:- “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,” (v. 4) NKJV All God’s children must understand what strength is. This present world only recognizes that there is strength, but most people don’t understand what it is or where it is from. If anyone is not strong, neither will he/she be able to share with the strong (Isaiah 53:12). Strength is not in words, but it is in the demonstration of power.

So, the word of God to you today is that He will strengthen you. No matter the area you need strength, be it finances, family, business connections or ministry, the Lord will strengthen you. As the Lord is giving you a promise today, you need to know how to connect to His covenant promises for your strength.

FOR YOUR ADVANTAGE Isaiah 60:1-8 Devotional:- “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you” (v. 2) NKJV The scriptures we read today show that God’s word has already foreseen this generation's doom. In other words, the current shaking is from the Lord. It is part of His agenda for the end times (2 Timothy 3:1). This shaking is actually necessary to shake ungodliness and people’s hope in material things and money, which have become the gods of many.

To merit something is to build up for it and attain it. The one that is stronger and greater is the one that is inherited. That is why you find some family lineages successful in a particular area. It is the children born in the palace to the king that turned to be the king in the future. This is because the Royal Seed is in them (Daniel 1:3)

It could cripple the heart of a person from taking right steps to progress. This in most cases, is a product of defeat mentality. Defeat mentality is largely a product of fear and doubt. Fear and doubt are also produced by repeated experiences of failure. If a man has tried several times on so many things and has failed, he may not be willing to try again. That is why the best things in life is not to depend on your experiences but on the power of God.

When God finished creating all He wanted to create, He needed someone who would take charge and manage the earth. I believe the first world created by God in his beauty and glory was taken over by the devil and darkness. And it became formless and void (Genesis 1:1-2).

Your flow in life is not unconnected with your spring. God consciously chose each one’s background to provoke them to rise, and He hides His glory in it. God prepares everyone for his glory to make all glory be unto Himself (Isaiah 48:11). So, if your background is poor, congratulations, because in that poverty is hidden the strength of riches.

God told me that the world has seen His power through the word and prayer, but has yet to see the greatest of His power, which is through praise. The devil, having understood the mysterious power of God through praises, often keeps us away from it by trick, but we are outwitting him from now on.

Testimonies are the events during which God, by His supernatural intervention, beyond your imagination, rescued you from trouble. These are times you might have lost all hope, and God helped you miraculously. Sometimes a man may be sick to the point of death, and yet God rescues him. Many of us do not know the power and purpose of testimonies.

It has a unique eye that, even from thousands feet level, it can see the smallest rat on the floor. And it can come down so fast to catch such animals.

Many forces would have been acting on them to bring them down, but the power of God sustains them. And if it is going to involve God to take and hold you in life, then it will be by faith, for without faith it is impossible to receive anything from God.

And please understand that I am not referring to physical strength alone, but more importantly, mental and spiritual strength. You need to understand you are not made to be weak from the on set, you are created strong. If you observe it, you will notice that almost all young people start strongly in life. But men begin to reduce in strength as they fall and rise in the race of life.

FEAR NO DEATH Acts 21:1-14 Devotional:- “Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus”” (v. 13) NKJV No one can live effectively except they first give up on the fear of death. Since some people have seen death as the end of existence, it often poses a great threat to their lives. Today, death is a fearful thing to mention to so many people. They sleep and wake up with the fear of death. They do everything with the consciousness of death. They even travel as though they will not come back. The hard truth is that such men will eventually die.

There are some facts we need to know about this so that we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil. Then the devil will not find it easy to outwit us in Jesus' name (2 Corinthians 2:11). What pushes most great men into the traps of sin are what could easily be avoided, but they became victims of it through their ignorance.
