GRATITUDE

GRATITUDE Habakkuk 3:8-19 Devotional:-  “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation..” (V. 18) NKJV      One of the great weapons to help you retain your strength in God is gratitude. This is because ingratitude reduces our strength. That is why it is often said that gratitude is the mother of altitude. Gratitude strengthens you with peace sufficient for progress. It makes God approve of you for your next level in life (Luke 17:17-19).

PLAYING WITH SIN

PLAYING WITH SIN

Judges 16:11-21
Devotional;- “And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" So he awoke from his sleep, and said, "I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!" But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him” (v.20) NKJV

God’s word says we cannot continue in sin and expect the grace of God to continue to abound (Rom. 6:1). Since divine strength feeds on grace, it is therefore impossible for a man to retain godly strength with sin. The word of God says whoever is sinning is of the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning.

So, as a child of God, you don’t play with sin. It will make God withdraw, and the rest of the story can be pathetic.

When it comes to physical strength, Samson was the strongest man in history. The strength of Samson was not in physical exercise. The Bible never recorded any time when he was carrying weight for bodybuilding. That strength did not come because he had strong biological parents. It was purely a divine strength. I hope you also know that the strength you have today is divine. Samson played with sin, and God left him. He thought he could still perform, but no way.

Friend, if you think the grace and strength you have today are your making, and you are playing with sin, you may soon be gone. Please stop playing with sin of any kind. It drains away the strength of God and makes the power cease flowing. You have more land to cover in glory, don’t let sin destroy your strength. Flee.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the deception of sin.

“SIN MAY LOOK PRETTY SIMPLE, BUT THE STING IS DEADLY”
