THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. IGNORANCE

IGNORANCE

Hosea 4:4-10
Devotional:- “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children” (v.6) NKJV

One of the strongest enemies of your strength in God is ignorance. There are several categories of ignorance. There is a level yet to be out. There is another level of no light. But whichever of the levels is affecting a man, it is so strong that it will destroy the Strength of that man. I want to say that either of the levels can be removed by seeking the Lord (Isaiah 40:31)

Ignorance can hide a man’s strength from him. It will convince the man that he is weak. It will make you doubt your strength. It will make a man afraid to exercise strength. Ignorance will make a man run away from what he can defeat. It can waste the entire life of a man in failure.

It is amazing that so many believers, though they attend church yet hate knowledge. They believe knowledge will impose responsibility on them, so they love to avoid knowledge to stay simple. But when challenges come, they will be too weak to stand. As a child of God, you have a lot of potential in you, but it takes knowledge to reveal it to you. If you refuse to make yourself available to learn, you will remain weak. Take time out to learn through the word of God, read books written by men of faith. Never you stop learning, and your strength shall be released to succeed in all you do. Wherever you are weak, it is knowledge that you need to overcome (Proverbs 24:5). Knowledge gives you skills, and skills brings success (Ecclesiastes 10:10). You will overcome.

Prayer: Lord, release the grace for light on me.
