ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

ONLY THE VICTORS

ONLY THE VICTORS

Revelation 21:1-8
Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV

In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility for challenges. Instead of being proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.

It is clear that the coming of the Lord is so close, and this is the reason for the challenges in the land. But we must realise that Jesus is only coming for the victorious. He is not coming for the weaklings, the fearful and the irresponsible. He is not coming for people with a defeated and incapable mentality. It is therefore important that you rise up as a Christian to grow and be strong.

That is why you must not use the Second Coming of the Lord as the instrument of relaxation. You must grow your strength in the Lord. Please know that God wants to use your life as proof that He is the almighty God. Therefore, you cannot afford to overlook your weaknesses and failures. Arise and be strong in prayers and fasting (Isaiah 40:31). This is the time to gain strength by meditating daily in the Word of God (Joshua 1:8). If you are a son of God, then the ability to win is in you (1 John 5:4). So, rise up to build up your faith for your victory (Romans 10:17). Jesus wants to meet you in your victory and success. Arise and be strong in the Lord. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me for my victory.

“JESUS IS COMING ONLY FOR THE VICTORIOUS.”
